Samsung Galaxy S9 All Rumours and Leaks In One Place
So guys its time to talk about the next beast from samsung, its latest upcoming flagship the S9. Both the Galaxy S9 and S9 plus might come earlier than expected. Various leaks and reports from various sources saying that the galaxy S9 will launch in the CES 2018 on February. So lets jump into the device specification.
Processor
So as we all know that samsung has started the production of the S9 and the S9 plus. So lets talk about the processor. Both the samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 plus will have the latest Snapdragon 845 or the Exynos 9810. Samsung is remaining committed to producing more efficient chips, announcing it has begun production of its 2nd generation 10-nanometer FinFET technology SoC. It is to be said that the Exynos 9810 to come with a neural engine but we don't know much about the Snapdragon 845.
Design
On November 23 Chinese phone leaker Ice Universe tweeted this ↓

S9 and S9 plus might have a big design change. In may 2016 samsung patented this ↓
It looks like samsung is using the same notch design as the Iphone X. But remember that patents are just patents and most of the time they have no relation with the actual device itself. in this case i don't think this notch design might happening with the S9. But I would love to see this notch design with the bigger 6.2" S9 plus.
Samsung is a company who spends lots of money in research and development so they patented this but honestly i don't think the notch design is happening with the S9 and S9 plus. But yes we can expect the top and bottom bezels will be shrunk down a bit but nothing much. So the design might be the same as the S8. The back of the phone will be made out of glass and the frame is going to be made of polished aluminium. So we cant expect a major design change when it comes to the S9 family. So the design will remain same.
And yes it still has a headphone jack. As tweeted by the Chinese phone leaker the headphone jack is still in S9 and S9 plus.
The back of the phone is changing for sure. A fingerprint scanner can be placed under the camera and the heart rate sensor goes side by side with the camera. Not sure actually. Also a report says that the two cameras are placed vertically, a heart rate sensor below camera and the fingerprint scanner below the heart rate sensor. So the two vertically placed camera and the fingerprint can be separated by the heart rate sensor. Actually anything can happen. But we might expect a big back design change as leaked by the Ice Universe.I think the Galaxy S9 still has a 3.5mm headphone jack— Ice universe (@UniverseIce) October 31, 2017

Display is going to be the same??
So lots of reports are saying that the display will be the same as its predecessor. Actually the S8 displays are still the winner. No other brand comes close to the display of S9 and Note 9. Samsung have decided to not make any changes in the display department. The display size and Resolution will be the same as its predecessor. The S9 will have a 5.8" display along with the resolution of 2960x1440p and the S9 plus will have a 6.2" display with the resolution of 2960x1440p. Both of the diplay's aspect ratio will be the same 18.5:9. The peak brightness might increase to 1200 nits instead of 1000 nits. Also the display might come with the HDR support.
S9 will have one camera instead of two on the S9 plus
On October 11, 2017 samsung has launched two new camera sensors. Samsung launched ISOCELL Fast 2L9 with Dual Pixel technology and ISOCELL Slim 2X7 with Tetracell technology. 1.28-micro meter (ÎĽm) 12-mega pixel (Mp) ISOCELL Fast 2L9 has a Dual Pixel technology and ultra-small 0.9ÎĽm 24Mp ISOCELL Slim 2X7 has a Tetracell technology. Both offer high resolution image sensors in small chip packages, delivering detailed pictures in low-light environments without a camera bump.
With Dual Pixel technology, the ISOCELL Fast 2L9 delivers ultra-fast auto-focus at a reduced pixel size from the previous Dual Pixel sensor’s 1.4ÎĽm to 1.28ÎĽm. Dual Pixel technology employs two photodiodes in each and every pixel of the sensor instead of only one. With 12 million focus detecting pixels, the sensor is able to not only quickly focus on small still objects, but also lock on and track moving objects without losing focus, even in low-light environments. With smaller pixel size, the ISOCELL Fast 2L9 can fit into slimmer camera modules, enabling bump-less designs for smartphones. Dual Pixel technology especially allows depth-of-field effect for taking bokeh, or aesthetically out-of-focused photographs, through a traditional single lens camera.

At 0.9ÎĽm, the ISOCELL Slim 2X7 is the first sensor in the industry to have the pixel size below 1.0ÎĽm.In addition, the small 0.9ÎĽm pixel size enables a 24Mp image sensor to be fitted in a thinner camera module, allowing premium smartphones to offer high resolution cameras in a very slim and elegant design.Tetracell improves performance in low-light situations by merging four neighboring pixels to work as one to increase light sensitivity. In bright environments, Tetracell uses a re-mosaic algorithm to produce full resolution images. This enables consumers to use the same front camera to take photos in various lighting conditions.

Samsung may include a 10x optical zoom feature and depth effect. Also some sources says that the camera sensors can support 1000 fps slow motion video recording. I hope it will happen because sony has their own 960 fps slow motion. So when it comes to samsung to make a sensor which supports 1000 fps not a big deal for them. But the cameras will support 4K at 60 fps as the rumours suggests.
But wait wait, the S9 will have one camera sensor instead of two, the bigger S9 plus will have the two camera sensors. Don't worry both the S9 and S9 plus will have portrait mode because of the new dual pixel technology cameras.
The S9 plus will have one extra sensor. Maybe a Wide angle camera like the LG G6 or maybe the 10x optical zoom camera lens as reported by ETNews.
The S9 and the S9 plus will have the 3D Facial Recognition just like the Iphone X. According to Chinese leaker Ice Universe Samsung has ordered a huge amount of 3D Facial Recognition components.
There will also some improvements to the front camera. The cameras might support depth sensing technology, if this happens it will be awesome to capture selfie portraits just like the Google Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL.Samsung for Galaxy S9 in the 3D face recognition component under a huge amount of orders.— Ice universe (@UniverseIce) November 20, 2017
Now lets talk about Internals and Extra Features
The S9 plus will have 6GB of Ram but the S9 might come with 4GB of Ram.
We all are expecting a Fingerprint Scanner embedded in the display but this will not be happening with the S9. We might see this feature with the Note 9. Recently Sammobile reported an "Environmental Sensor" for future galaxy phones. Both of the models are water and dust resistance IP68 certified rating.
Samsung could bundle an ‘Environmental Sensor’ on future Galaxy-branded smartphones, according to a patent spotted by the folks over at Galaxy Club on Wednesday. The component, which is believed to have been in development for a while now, measures air quality to provide users with vital information about the environment they’re in.
In polluted cities—Beijing and Jodhpur, for example—the so-called Environmental Sensor will analyze atmospheric conditions and instruct users to affix their pollution mask if it sees fit. It’ll also be useful for those travelling abroad, as they’ll be able to view details about air quality live on their handset to decide what precautionary measures to take.
Samsung might also include a modular capability to their smartphones just like the Moto Z2 Play.
Ram- Both the models will have 128 GB of internal storage.
Battery- The S9 plus will have a bigger battery than the S8 3600mAh/3700mAh
